At the start of the pandemic in 2020, when everything closed, I wonder how people would still get their weekly fill from the church since everything was “shutting down.” Because I was familiar with creating content on my personal social media platforms, I thought it would be a good idea to do the same thing for my church. When I met my new pastor (my old one passed away), we teamed up to think of ways to be able to take the Word of God and translate that into media, kind of like a modern day “letters to the church” but “letters to social media.” We both understood the impact of social media, negative and positive, but the goal is to create a platform that displays the Christian walk. Over the years I've found ways to combine storytelling with discipleship to the people of God and it’s become a true passion of mine. Doing this has also helped my walk with Christ and be able to reach out to others as well. I also thought it would be a great idea to take photos and videos of something other than myself ;).
